Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly’s thriller movie 10×10 is proving to be a huge hit on Netflix UK.
The 2018 movie, which also stars Beauty and the Beast’s Luke Evans, sees a man abduct a flower shop owner, holding her captive in a small, soundproof room to try and extract a secret from her past.
The film received fairly lukewarm reviews when it was released, and currently stands at 67% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, 10×10 appears to have found a new lease of life thanks to Netflix, with the movie at number 1 in the “Top 10 Films in the UK Today” list on the Netflix UK homepage as of Tuesday (July 4).
Reilly has been better known in recent years for playing the role of Beth Dutton on the hit Paramount+ series Yellowstone.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that she will be appearing in a new movie called Little Wing opposite Succession’s Brian Cox, taking on the role of lead character Kaitlyn’s mom Maddie.
Meanwhile, Yellowstone is set to come to an end with its fifth season, which came after rumours of star Kevin Cosnter’s exit.
Speaking about the star’s departure, creator Taylor Sheridan told The Hollywood Reporter: “My last conversation with Kevin was that he had this passion project he wanted to direct.
“He and the network were arguing about when he could be done with Yellowstone. I said: ‘We can certainly work a schedule toward his preferred exit date,’ which we did.”
He added: “His creation of John Dutton is symbolic and powerful. I’ve never had an issue with Kevin that he and I couldn’t work out on the phone.
“But once lawyers get involved, then people don’t get to talk to each other and start saying things that aren’t true and attempt to shift blame based on how the press or public seem to be reacting.
“He took a lot of this on the chin and I don’t know that [he] deserves it. His movie seems to be a great priority to him and he wants to shift focus. I sure hope the movie is worth it and that it’s a good one.”
