Members of the crew and cast of the popular series “Yellowstone” are often spotted wandering around the Fort Worth Stockyards, where a portion of filming has taken place.

This could just be the fuel behind rumors circulating on Reddit about producer Taylor Sheridan’s potential acquisition of the iconic Joe T. Garcia’s restaurant located just blocks away. Alternatively, it might indeed be in the works.

According to the Fort Worth Report, one insider familiar with the deal said Sheridan has gone as far as putting together a purchasing group. Sheridan did not respond to the news organization’s inquiries about the possible sale.

A member of the Lancarte Family, who have owned the renowned Tex-Mex restaurant for several generations, gave a vague response to inquiries. According to a spokeswoman for the business, they stated that “nothing has happened, so there is nothing to say.”
