This Below Deck Med Star Needs To Be Fired As Backlash Grows Over Embarrassing Behavior

Many Below Deck Mediterranean viewers believe that Captain Sandy Yawn should dismiss Stew Elena “Ellie” Dubaich immediately. Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 has proven to be entertaining so far. However, there are a few cast members who are already causing issues on the yacht. Second Stew Ellie may be the most problematic member of the crew. She has been showing entitled behavior from the beginning. Ellie has tried to make herself look better than others, especially her junior, Bri Muller. In recent episodes, the second stew has made things difficult for Bri, punishing her for hooking up with Joe Bradley.

Recently, Below Deck’s official Instagram posted a short clip of Ellie reacting to the guests having fun on the boat. In the clip, the second stew can be heard saying, “Iโ€™m hearing these plates breaking, and Iโ€™m thinking this is going to be a lot of cleanup.”

While Ellie’s reaction was understandable, fans didn’t appreciate her complaining about her job. Instagram user @chrissielwagner wrote, “my God Ellie, grow up,” criticizing the Below Deck star for her complaining attitude. Another user, @stevevg264, commented, “fire her. Her attitude is affecting every department,” pointing out Ellie’s problematic behavior.

The most recent Instagram clip isn’t the only one where viewers have been asking Captain Sandy to fire Ellie. Throughout the weeks, many Below Deck Mediterranean videos featuring Ellie have also received similar comments. It appears that fans are truly fed up with the second stew’s behavior and don’t want to see her on their TV screens anymore. Ellie has tarnished her reputation and won’t be able to repair it easily. If she wants to regain likability, she’ll have to apologize to Bri and stop spreading gossip, and instead focus more on her job.

Ellie’s behavioral issues may eventually lead Captain Sandy to fire her. Fans usually don’t want to see Below Deck cast members lose their jobs, but their opinion of Ellie differs because she is trying to hurt fan-favorite Bri.

In contrast to Ellie, Bri is much more down-to-earth and likable. As an underdog on the yacht, Bri is more relatable than other cast members. The third stew is also sweet and friendly, dedicated to her job, avoids gossip, and tries to make life easier for her team.

Ellie will be safe on the yacht if she carefully does her job. Unlike Bri, the second stew is highly skilled and experienced. While she may not have a likable personality, it doesn’t take away from the fact that she completes her assigned tasks properly.

Captain Sandy only dismisses crew members who jeopardize her reputation and team. She doesn’t let go of team members with attitude issues without first giving them a warning. As long as Ellie proves her worth to Captain Sandy, her job as a second stew on Below Deck Mediterranean is safe.
