It is no secret that the TV dating show Love Is Blind has had its fair share of scandals, and this trend is continuing now that Jeramey Lutinski is being accused of having and living with a fiancée when he applied for the show. Jeramey is only one of the many men who appeared in Love Is Blind season 6 in hopes of finding someone they could connect with and potentially become engaged to. Love Is Blind is a TV dating show in which people attempt to form lifelong relationships based only on their personality and the sound of their voice.

Jeramey defended himself against these allegations and explained why he did not think this should have been a surprise.

Jeramey, who ultimately proposed to Laura Dadisman, has been accused of applying to be on Love Is Blind even though he was already living with a fiancée, which caused his motives to be called into question. On Jeramey’s Instagram page, he defended himself against these allegations and explained why he did not think this should have been such a surprise.

Jeramey said, “Anybody that I was on dates with, my castmates, and in prior interviews, this topic was discussed, nobody is surprised by this.” He further explained, “It is something that was well-documented.” He denied that he was still in the relationship at the time he joined Love Is Blind.

Jeramey Claims Love Is Blind Didn’t Air All Of His Backstory

The photos showed Jeramey holding a young boy and posing with a woman next to him who appeared to be wearing an engagement ring.

Speculation that Jeramey may not have been in Love Is Blind season 6 for the “right reasons” began after a photo was posted to the Instagram account The Shade Room. This photo showed Jeramey holding a young boy and posing with a woman next to him who appeared to be wearing an engagement ring. A private account belonging to a woman named Jenni Gelven Daniel commented on the post, claiming that the woman was her daughter and the little boy was her grandson. This immediately caused the comments section to fly into a frenzy, with people even commenting on Laura’s Instagram.

A private Instagram account belonging to @brittmcliv commented, “Did he ever tell you about his ex fiancé right before you? Surely not…or the house WE sold a week or two before he filmed for this show?” The account then commented, “@looo_bear just want all the info out there. You and Sarah Ann should know. I’m happy to share proof.” The commenter then flagged a video of Jeramey and his dog Layla, saying, “Peep the video of Layla and him in the snow on his Instagram. That was at our house and that’s me recording the video and talking.”

“Unfortunately, with all of the footage that was captured, not all of it makes it into the final cut.”

After much speculation, Jeramey took to Instagram to explain his side of the story in a video. He said that his castmates were aware of his background but that not everything about his dating history was aired on the TV show. Jeramey said, “Unfortunately, with all of the footage that was captured, not all of it makes it into the final cut. This just happened not to make it in there.” Jeramey wanted to make it clear that he did not apply to be on Love Is Blind; instead, a casting director asked him to be on the show.

It can be frustrating not to know how to feel about the men and women on Love Is Blind when not being told all the important information. The limited time for each episode could be a reason why so much is left out, but it seems important to know that some of these cast members were just recently in a relationship or that they may not have applied to be on the show at all. Having said that, Love Is Blind season 6 has had everything from breakups to questionable motives, with plenty of onscreen drama to come.
