Alexa and Brennon Lemieux are getting ready to meet their little one!

The couple, who met and married on season 3 of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, recently celebrated their baby-to-be at a Bridgerton-inspired baby shower. The party, held outside at D’Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Tex., featured decor, games and food fit for the diamond of the season.

“The whole day was so special. The hosts went above and beyond to celebrate me and the impending arrival of our precious baby girl,” Alexa tells PEOPLE. “I’m beyond blessed to have so much unwavering support, guidance and love throughout this journey. They say it takes a village and I couldn’t be more grateful for the one we have.”

“It was a beautiful sunny day where the guests walked around with parasols,” she continues. “It was a scene straight from Bridgerton. We had baby bottle chugging contests and a teddy bear flip cup game where guests competed on who could put the bear’s diaper on the fastest.”

“It was a wonderful day of my closest friends and family coming together to share in the joy and excitement of welcoming our love bug into the world.”

Complete with parasols, pink and blue tablecloths and green couches, the baby shower also included cakes from Fancy Cakes by Lauren, sweets from Main Street Sweets, and florals by Shane Walker Designs. Guests could sway to the music of violist Emily Burak Music and take sweet photos in a photo booth by Kaptured.

In May, Alexa and Brennon shared exclusively with PEOPLE that they are expecting a baby girl together.

“We decided to find out the gender privately at home with just the two of us so that we could have a special moment,” Alexa told PEOPLE at the time. “We got some cupcakes with the color icing either being pink or blue.”

“I’m so happy we’re having a precious baby girl,” the mom-to-be continued. “A girl that I can raise to be strong and confident in herself and proud of who she is. I can’t wait to have a little mini-me and play dress up and plan tea parties and wear matching outfits with.”

“Being raised with four brothers and no sisters, I initially was very nervous to be a girl dad since I was unaware of what that might entail for the future,” Brennon added. “Over the past several months, Alexa and I have been nesting for our daughter.”

“I am still very nervous to be a dad, but I know that I am going to love and care for my daughter. I am certain our daughter knows she already has us wrapped around her little finger.”
