Recently, some of the biggest scandals in Love Is Blind history have come out of the cast of the current season.
Chelsea Saying She Looked Like Megan Fox
During Love Is Blind season 6’s earliest moments, Chelsea Blackwell shared that her friends have told her she looks like Megan Fox in the past. The North Carolina native didn’t think much of the comment during her date in the pods, as she was simply making conversation at the time and had no idea the amount of backlash she would receive for commenting on her potential celebrity look-a-like. Chelsea, who works as a flight attendant and has been open about her life after Love Is Blind, mentioned something casual that’s been blown out of proportion after airing on the show.
After hearing that Chelsea believed she looked like Megan Fox, some Love Is Blind viewers felt compelled to share their thoughts online about just how much they disagreed. Sharing some deeply unkind sentiments about Chelsea’s looks, the backlash about her appearance has been jarring for the Love Is Blind star to handle. Doing her best to turn it into something humorous, Chelsea has been trying to make a joke out of the fact that people are slamming her for the comments. Though it may have hurt her feelings initially, Chelsea taking the high road has been better after the controversy.
Kenneth Gaslighting Brittany During Breakup
Throughout their short relationship, Kenneth Gorman and Brittany Mills had a tough time seeing eye to eye. While their connection in the pods seemed like a pure, sweet attraction, Kenneth and Brittany had a difficult time adjusting when they got out of isolation. After meeting in person for the first time, it quickly became clear that the physical attraction between Brittany and Kenneth wasn’t growing. As much as Brittany tried to make things work with Kenneth, he was resistant and wasn’t really putting in the effort needed to make a stronger connection.
During their Love Is Blind season 6 breakup, viewers saw Kenneth in a new light when he openly tried to gaslight Brittany into tak ing the blame for their lack of connection. When met with Kenneth’s criticisms about their relationship, Brittany brought up issues of her own and shared that she’d been having a hard time with Kenneth, too. Shockingly, Kenneth tried to spin the issues they’d faced in their relationship onto Brittany entirely. He wanted to make it seem like he’d been giving as much effort to see if he could get her to take the blame for their split.
Jeramey Staying Out With Sarah Ann
In the pod phase, Jeramey Lutinski and Laura Dadisman made a strong connection, though he connected with Sarah Ann as well. When he decided to choose Laura over Sarah Ann, it was clear Jeramey felt a sense of regret, but he tried to leave it behind as he began his new relationship. Jeramey’s past was mysterious, but Laura seemed equipped to figure out what made him tick, and though the couple dealt with some issues throughout the early days of their relationship, it appeared they may be able to make things work. For Jeramey, things were difficult to parse out.
In the most recent batch of Love Is Blind season 6 episodes, Jeramey openly lied to Laura about his whereabouts and the fact that he’d met up with Sarah Ann behind her back. Earlier in the season, it was revealed Jeramey had been communicating with Sarah Ann over DM, but Laura had worked to let go of that, as Jeramey had assured her it was one-sided. After meeting up with Sarah Ann late at night, Jeramey stayed out until 5 in the morning and then attempted to lie to Laura about where he was and who he was with.
Jimmy Calling Chelsea Clingy
After the issues Jimmy Presnell faced in the pod phase, having to choose between Chelsea and Jessica Vestal, his relationship was something he hoped would be easy. Jimmy and Chelsea’s connection seemed sweet early on in their relationship outside of the pods, but things quickly became murky after the pair had spent some time together. Things came to a head when Jimmy called Chelsea clingy, which hurt her deeply. It was clear that the couple were not on the same page, and after a major fight broke out between them, it’s possible their relationship could crumble.
Jermaey Was Engaged When Applying For Love Is Blind
Although Jeramey’s scandalous behavior behind Laura’s back was enough of a scandal, the Love Is Blind star may have an even bigger skeleton hiding in the back of his closet. Jeramey’s behavior has been questionable throughout the season, but that could be because he was allegedly engaged whilst applying to be on Love Is Blind. While Jeramey has refuted the claim, it’s been reported that he was engaged during his application process. Jeramey went onto Love Is Blind to find someone he could potentially marry,but was allegedly in a serious, long-term relationship just weeks before his appearance on the series.
Trevor Having A Girlfriend During Filming
During the pod phase, the love triangle between Jessica, Jimmy, and Chelsea morphed into a love square when Chelsea’s connection with Trevor Sova heated up. The pair had been talking from the earliest days in the pods, and though they had a sweet connection, Chelsea ultimately chose Jimmy. After Love Is Blind began to air, viewers came to find out that Trevor actually had a girlfriend during the filming process. Text messages released by Trevor’s alleged ex made it clear that Love Is Blind’s Chelsea likely made the right call when deciding who to choose.
