Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Costner (née Baumgartner) was spotted again with her financier neighbor Josh Connor amid romance rumors between the pair.
On Friday, Christine, 49, dropped off Connor at his home, according to photos obtained by The Daily Mail. In the images, Conner, who lives near Christine, appeared to pull a suitcase as he walked away from her vehicle.
Christine’s attorney, John Rydell, previously denied rumors of a romance between Christine and Connor during court proceedings in August 2023, stating that Connor was only a friend to Christine amid her divorce from Kevin, 68.
Rydell did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment about Christine’s latest outing with Connor.
At the time, both Christine and Kevin appeared at a Santa Barbara, California, court for a child support hearing, when Rydell stated that Connor is merely a friend of Christine’s and “nothing more than that.”
Rydell also said that Connor lent Christine $20,000 last summer when she appeared to be in “distress.”
Christine and Connor were previously spotted spending time together in Hawaii in July 2023 while Christine was on vacation with her children. (She shares kids Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13 with Kevin.)
While on the stand during a court proceeding, Christine said she slept in the same room as another friend, not Connor, during the trip, and answered “no” when asked whether Connor is her boyfriend.
She also said the financier funded the Hawaii trip for “everyone.”
The vacation sighting came more than two months after Christine filed for divorce from Kevin on May 1 after 18 years of marriage. She had listed their date of separation as April 11.
In May 2023, when the breakup first made headlines, a rep for Kevin said “circumstances beyond his control have transpired” that led to the pair’s split.
At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the divorce “was not anything that [Kevin] wanted or sought, and if he could change the situation, he would.”
Christine and Kevin settled their divorce in September 2023, PEOPLE confirmed at the time.
“Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings,” a rep for Kevin said in a joint statement.
A source later told PEOPLE that the actor was “relieved that this matter has been settled and will continue to focus solely on jointly raising their three children.”
