Kevin Costner spent some quality time with his son Hayes Logan Costner at the 43th Annual Rincon Classic surfing contest in Santa Barbara on Saturday.

The 69-year-old Yellowstone star’s teenage son – who’s likely enrolled in the nearby surf school Surf Happens – will celebrate his 15th birthday on February 12.

Kevin sported designer sunglasses and dressed his slim 6ft1in form in a classic white button-up shirt, off-white jeans, and black flip-flop sandals.

Costner pays his ex-wife #2 Christine Baumgartner $63K/month in child support to help care for little Hayes as well as their 13-year-old daughter Grace Avery and 16-year-old son Cayden Wyatt.

The two-time Oscar winner and his 49-year-old ex settled their contentious divorce battle on September 19 – five months after their legal separation following 18 years of marriage.

On January 12, DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Christine was still dating Kevin’s banker buddy Josh Connor following a Hawaiian getaway back in July – despite her denying it during their divorce trial.

‘Kevin had strong suspicions that something was going on between Christine and Josh,’ an insider told Us Weekly last Wednesday.

‘Their close [bond] was a real elephant in the room.’

Meanwhile, Costner has been canoodling with four-time Grammy-nominated singer Jewel since November.

The JFK alum fathered three children – daughter Anne Clayton, 39; daughter Lily McCall, 37; and son Joe Tedrick, turning 36 on January 31 – during his 16-year marriage to Cindy Costner, which ended in 1994.

Kevin also has a 27-year-old son Liam with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney.

Costner next produced, wrote, directed, and stars in Horizon: An American Saga, a $200M-budget two-part western set before and after the Civil War, which hits US theaters June 28 and August 16.

Horizon also features Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, Michael Rooker, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, and Jamie Campbell Bower.

The Modern West frontman concludes his Golden Globe-winning role as John Dutton III in the second part of the fifth (and final) season of Taylor Sheridan and John Linson’s western Yellowstone, which premieres this November on the Paramount Network.

Kevin’s Montana rancher character is rumored to be killed off with a deadly recurrence of colon cancer, which afflicted him during the first season.
