Kevin Costner cut an elegant figure as he hit the red carpet at the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, on Sunday.

The Yellowstone star, 68, looked dashing in a black tuxedo and bowtie. He teamed the outfit with a watch and sunglasses.

The actor was one of the presenter’s at the event, and even recited a few lines from the Barbie movie while onstage with the film’s star America Ferrera, 39.

Costner and Ferrera presented the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series to The Bear star, Ayo Edebiri, and the award Best Actor in a Drama TV Series to Succession star Kieran Culkin.

Costner attended the show without his new girlfriend, singer Jewel, 49, with whom he reportedly spent New Year’s.

Jewel shared an image to Instagram last week that was from an event that took place at the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, Colorado.

Costner was seen in Colorado as well, in nearby Aspen, suggesting the two spent New Year’s together in the snowy state.

The crooner looked chic in a colorful outfit as she flashed a gold ring on her wedding finger.

The bauble may have been a Christmas gift from the actor whom she has been dating for the past few months.

The songbird and the actor were spotted getting tactile at Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands over the Thanksgiving weekend in November.

The good times come after Costner finalized his divorce from his wife of 19 years Christine Baumgartner.

In October Costner and Baumgartner’s very bitter divorce met an end as the two sides settled with the prenup enforced and a massive monetary penalty if it is challenged.

A joint statement from Costner and Baumgartner provided to DailyMail.com read: ‘Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.’

The actor and his wife of nearly 20 years have been embroiled in a months-long legal war which has met a surprise end after a report that Baumgartner had received more than $400,000 to pay the costs of the contentious courtroom battle.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards honors the best in film and American television of 2023 – with the glittering ceremony held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The most hotly anticipated movies of the past year – Barbie and Oppenheimer – lead the nominations.

Barbie dominated the nominations with nine nods for the blockbuster film, including best picture musical or comedy, as well as acting nominations for Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling and three of its original songs.

It was closely followed by its ‘Barbenheimer’ release date companion Oppenheimer, which scored eight nominations, including best picture drama and for actors Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt.

The 2021 report found that there were no black members in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association – which votes on the awards.

Stars and studios boycotted the Globes and NBC refused to air it in 2022 as a result.

After the group added journalists of color to its ranks and instituted other reforms to address ethical concerns, the show came back in January 2023 in a one-year probationary agreement with NBC. The network did not opt to renew.

In June, billionaire Todd Boehly was granted approval to dissolve the HFPA and reinvent the Golden Globes as a for-profit organization.

Its assets were acquired by Boehly’s Eldridge Industries, along with Dick Clark Productions, a group that is owned by Penske Media whose assets also include Variety, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone and Billboard.

In mid-November, CBS announced that it would air the ceremony on the network on Jan. 7. It will also stream on Paramount+.

The group nominating and voting for the awards is now made up of a more diverse group of over 300 people from around the world.
