Carlo Pedersoli , known professionally as Bud Spencer, was an Italian actor, professional swimmer and water polo player. He was known for action-comedy and Spaghetti Western roles with his long-time film partner and friend Terence Hill. The duo “garnered world acclaim and attracted millions to theater seats”.Spencer and Hill appeared in 18 films together.

His films became legendary throughout Europe, especially in his native Germany and Hungary, but they were also unknown in the United States of America.
After sixteen years of acquaintance, he married his lover, Maria Amato, in 1960. During this time, he bought songs and also wrote lyrics. He wrote lyrics and bought music for singers like Ornella Vanoni or Nico Fidenco. His compositions can be heard in several films, such as Minden bele pΓΌyok!

Bud Spencer can be seen in several scenes as was an airplane pilot, whose crew didn’t even have to use trick shots, because the actor already had a license to fly passenger planes and helicopters.
After the two actors went their separate ways in 1985, Spencer founded his own airline, Mistral Air, which he later sold to buy a textile factory that produced children’s clothing and started started his own restaurant chain called Bud Food.
