Clint Eastwood Is Apparently “Begging” His Son To Make a Movie With Him
Having directed numerous movies over the years, Clint Eastwood has become a notable and veteran director. His son, Scott Eastwood has also starred in several of his father’s movies in minor roles.
In an interview with Eastwood, the interviewer asked him what his advice would be to Scott Eastwood when he would direct his son while shooting a movie. The director replied that he hadn’t worked on a major project with his son and that he is “begging” his son to make a major movie with him.
“Well, I haven’t done a major project with him yet. But I’ll probably be begging him for one soon enough.”
He further continued,
“But he always came in and did a good job. And he’s now graduated to better roles, and the chicks are all calling and asking where Scott is. They used to ask where I was. Now they’re going, “What about Scott?”
In the interview, Eastwood also explained that he is afraid of retiring since he believes that once a person retires, they drop dead.
Clint Eastwood Is Afraid of Retiring
During the interview, Clint Eastwood became a bit serious regarding life and work. Stating the difference between a man and a woman after they retire, Eastwood drew comparisons and stated that men often drop dead after they retire.
“A lot of people when they retire, they just expire. It happens to men more than women. Women usually have great interest in the family, because the family’s always growing and they’re always coming to the rescue. For a man, once you’ve sired your pups, you’re done.”
The director is currently attached to his upcoming movie titled Juror #2 which is currently in production. Although there are rumors circulating about the cast of the movie, it has been confirmed that Eastwood will serve as the director.
