Clint Eastwood Reveals His Opinion At The Age Of 93 “It’S Too Late…To Age Gracefully”

For decades, Clint Eastwood has been one of America’s most accomplished and popular western actors and an award-winning director. Persevering in his work through all the ages of his life, he has truly become an American film icon and makes many young people today admire with his efforts.

At age 93, Eastwood produced, directed, and starred in a film adaptation of the 1975 novel called Cry Macho which is set to be released sometime in 2021. Just two years prior, Eastwood had starred and directed in The Mule – which was his first acting role since 2012.

Now, it appears, that the veteran filmmaker and actor is looking to turn away from the spotlight and public life. In a message tweeted out on Sunday, July 18th, 2021, Eastwood exclaimed at how much “time flies” as he shared a series of photographs chronicling his many, many roles.

Along with the photo series, Eastwood revealed his opinion on aging…admitting that he had passed the point where he would be able to “age gracefully.”

“I think being able to age gracefully is a very important talent,” he wrote with finality. “It is too late for me.”

Previously, Eastwood had reflected on his career as part of a 2010 Warner Brothers documentary called The Eastwood Factor. Speaking in the film, he said:

“Everybody wonders why I continue working at this stage. I keep working because there are always new stories. … And as long as people want me to tell them, I’ll be there doing them.”

At the time, he was only 80…and has continued to work since.
