American Sniper was a 2014 war movie starring Bradley Cooper in the lead role. Being intimidated by John Krasinski for the muscular physique that he had, Cooper was quite worried about his own body for the 2014 movie.

Especially working with veteran director Clint Eastwood, Bradley Cooper left nothing to fate. With research and body weights in the mix, Cooper gave quite a big part of his life into making that body that he so desperately needed for Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper.

When Bradley Cooper Was Intimidated By John Krasinski!

Back in 2015, Bradley Cooper and John Krasinski shared the screen when they starred in Aloha. Since they were already working on the movie for quite a while, Bradley Cooper was indeed in awe of John Krasinski’s body.

As per IMDB, Bradley Cooper might have been so impressed or intimidated by Krasinski’s body that he did something out of the blue for his 2014 movie. Working alongside veteran director Clint Eastwood, Cooper did not want to leave any stone unturned. As per film trivia, Cooper hired the trainer John Krasinski to train alongside him for American Sniper.

Portraying the role of real-life American Sniper Chris Kyle, Bradley Cooper indeed gave his all for the movie as the 2014 film received several accolades and awards. As for the shared 2015 movie, John Krasinksi and Cooper managed to earn an average rating of 5.4/10 on IMDB, and the movie was not considered that much of a success!

Bradley Cooper Is Also Intimidated By Cillian Murphy

With Murphy giving an exceptional performance in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, the chances of him winning an Oscar are pretty high. During Variety’s Actors on Actors, Bradley Cooper mentioned a very specific example that people seem was a reference to Murphy’s casting for Oppenheimer!

“I feel like our movies. You [Emma Stone] couldn’t have made ‘Poor Things’ if you didn’t have a tremendous amount of prep. It’s the same thing with ‘Maestro’. There’s just not…I watch your movie and your performance in it, there’s just no way…this wasn’t like you got a call and then in six months you gotta do it”.

The example of a call and then being on the job six months later is exactly what happened to Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer. With Cooper’s reaction, fans seem to think that the actor is actually jealous of Cillian Murphy and how his movie received critical acclaim. As for Clint Eastwood’s 2014 war movie, American Sniper received a rating of 7.3/10 on IMDB and 72% on Rotten Tomatoes.
