The Yellowstone CBS premiere release date for the show’s broadcast television debut has finally been revealed.

What is the Yellowstone CBS premiere release date?

Deadline has revealed that Yellowstone Season 1 will premiere on CBS on Sunday, September 17 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. ET. Two back-to-back episodes will then air on Sunday, September 24 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET.

Yellowstone is created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. It stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, Ryan Bingham, Gil Birmingham, Jen Landon, and Kathryn Kelly.

“The series chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States,” reads the synopsis. “Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect — the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.”

The show is executive produced by John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, and Stephen Kay. The Paramount Network original drama is co-produced and co-financed by 101 Studios.

Repeats of the Paramount Network hit “Yellowstone” will kick off its broadcast run on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 8:30 p.m. ET following the 56th season (!) premiere of “60 Minutes” at 7:30 p.m.
