Jax Taylor recalled “seeing red” and throwing furniture after discovering the nudes his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, was sending one of his friends.

During Thursday’s episode of Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast, the “Valley” star revealed the incident that prompted him to enter an inpatient rehab center.

He explained that, months after they announced their separation, “things were looking good” between him and Cartwright, 35. In fact, things were so “great” that they were considering getting back together.

“I’ll be honest, we had relations before I left, literally right before I left [for a Fourth of July trip],” Taylor, 45, claimed. “I come back home and I said, ‘Hey, what do you think about moving back?’ And she said, ‘Yeah.’”

However, things quickly went south when Taylor discovered Cartwright was still speaking with his friend, Julian Sensley, after he thought their “casual” fling had ended.

“I just saw the iPad, and she was still talking to Julian and sending him pictures, like naked pictures and pictures of my son, and I just lost it,” the former bartender said.

“And that’s where I hit the bottom of the barrel. That’s where I just saw red,” he described before adding that he had an “out of body experience” and “went crazy.”

“I threw furniture,” he confessed. “That was my breaking point.”

The “Vanderpump Rules” alum clarified that their 3-year-old son, Cruz, was “luckily” nowhere near them at the time.

Two days after the incident, his friends organized an “intervention” and encouraged him to seek treatment at a mental health center. Taylor checked in for a month-long program, where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and narcissistic personality disorder.

Page Six previously revealed that Cartwright and Sensley had a “casual” physical relationship after her separation from Taylor in February.

During Tuesday’s episode of “Hot Mic,” Cartwright said that her hooking up with Sensley “wasn’t anything that [she] planned.”

She further argued that Taylor “hooked up with [her] friend” — referencing the time he cheated on her with Faith Stowers — and brought women back to their shared home during their separation.

However, Taylor claimed that “one of the rules” of their separation was that they wouldn’t hook up with “no friends or nobody we know.”

“I don’t think I would have been bothered by it if it was somebody else that I didn’t know, but the fact that it was one of my friends that I brought into my group, that I’ve taken care of, that I’ve helped get a manager, that I’ve helped build relationships with? I just did a lot for this guy. I just felt like it was such a slap in the face to me a little bit,” Taylor confessed.

During the podcast, Taylor also talked about finding out about their fling the first time, saying he had seen a “weird” message from Sensley pop up on her phone “at night.”

“I called her on it and I caught her in a couple of lies, and then I got it out of her. An hour into the conversation, she finally broke and told me,” he claimed. “I was just in shock.”

The “House of Villains” alum accused Cartwright of “keeping it a secret” during a time when they “were going back and forth” about getting back together.

“Yes, we were separated, but we were still hanging out with each other,” he alleged. “Meanwhile, she was dating this guy … Maybe it’s karma, but man, I definitely got a taste of my own medicine for sure.”

“It just didn’t feel good,” Taylor continued. “It put a really bad taste in my mouth, and that’s kinda where the downward spiral started for me, […] but the last eight months of my life have been hell. I went off the deep end. I really did.

Cartwright’s rep didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

The mom of one officially filed for divorce from Taylor in August while they were filming Season 2 of “The Valley.”
