Lala Kent’s ex-cohost is speaking out after her mysterious exit from the Give Them Lala podcast. Jessica Walter, who was also Lala’s assistant, suggested that Lala didn’t give her the opportunity to say goodbye to listeners, and she suggested she’ll share more “soon.”

On a recent episode of the podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star briefly shared that her “ride or die” cohost was moving on to other projects. At the time, many fans questioned why Jessica didn’t announce the exit herself or say goodbye to fans. Amid the speculation, Jessica ‘liked’ a fan’s comment that her departure was “handled so poorly.”

“A lot of you reaching out … have been like, ‘Why would you just up and leave the podcast without saying goodbye?’” said Jessica in a new video she posted on Instagram, via @vanderpodrecaps. “You know, I’ve been on it for three years.”

“Of course I would have said goodbye to you guys if I were given the opportunity,” she said directly to her fans.

Jessica then shared what she would have told listeners if she were given the chance.

“I would wanna say, you know, how much I love and appreciate just the connecting with all of you. So I’ll say that now,” she stated. “Right now, on behalf of my position on the Give Them Lala podcast, goodbye. And I love every single one of [you].”

She wrote over the video, “Love you angels.”

Jessica added, “That is all I will say … for now,” but she hinted she’ll share more “soon.”

On the November 6 episode of Give Them Lala, in a segment called ‘ache and relief of the week,’ Lala first addressed Jessica’s exit.

“My ache is that my ride or die, Jessica, is no longer going to be working for me, and she is no longer going to be on the podcast,” said the star at the time, via Bravo TV. “My relief is that she’s going to spread her wings.”

“I love her more than anything, and I’m so excited to see what she’s going to do in her future,” Lala added.
