The show follows a tow team as they traverse dangerous roads during inclement weather and rescue stranded people. In episode 10 of season 6, Mike had a breakthrough television moment and audiences expressed interest in his big personality. When a news story detailing the sale of his property and project cars broke out, Mayhem Entertainment was the first to approach Mike about the possibility of a car restoration show (via Looper).

His time on Rust Valley Restorers reveals that he has a wife and son. His wife, however, does not share his love for vintage car restorations and forbids him from keeping them on their farm. The identity of his wife remains unknown.
His son Connor is a main member of the show’s cast and seemingly shares his love for vintage cars. He often works on projects with his father and remains active on social media. Connor Hall’s Instagram bio reads “Mechanic on Rust Valley Restorers,” implying the continuation of the show into its fifth season.
