Below Deck Mediterranean season 9’s Bri Muller has been struggling throughout the first charters of the season, and after her most recent actions, should be the first yachtie to voluntarily leave Mustique. While Bri has been working hard to get accustomed to life aboard Mustique, her time as a Stew on the superyacht hasn’t been easy. Bri, who is one of the younger yachties aboard the vessel, has been struggling to work well with the rest of her team and accomplish her tasks. Working beneath both Chief Stew Aesha Scott and Stew Elena Dubaich, Bri’s the lowest-ranked Stew aboard Mustique.
Although Bri has had a tough few charters, there has been some promise in her performance as she’s moved through the difficulties of the charter season. Bri’s time aboard Musique, however, has been entirely unlike her experiences aboard superyachts in the past. Many have said that working aboard a Below Deck superyacht is far more difficult than the standard service, and Bri’s time on the vessel seems to be proving just that. The intensity of working aboard the Mustique on Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 has been getting to Bri, which could cause her to make the decision to leave.
Bri And Ellie’s Drama Is Tough To Watch

At the beginning of the charter season, it was clear that Bri was the least experienced yachtie aboard Mustique. She shared early on that she’d worked in the industry for three years, but her skills were still severely lacking and Ellie, who had been named Second Stew by Aesha, realized she needed help. Ellie chose to take Bri under her wing, helping her and guiding her when she needed it. After the women clashed over both being attracted to Deckhand Joe Bradley, Bri hooked up with Joe and caused a rift in their relationship that’s been hard to stomach.
Bri Has Very Little Experience & Has Never Finished A Charter Season
Although Bri has experience working in the industry, she’s been clear that yachting in general wasn’t something she’d been successful with in the past. Though Bri has continued to try and improve her skills, she shared early on in the season that she’s never successfully completed a charter season working as a Stew. While Bri has been on superyachts and understands what’s expected of her, the skills she has aren’t at their top level. Instead, Bri has been open about struggling and shared that she’s looking forward to finally completing a yachting season someday, regardless of when it is.
Bri Won’t Be Fired, But She’ll Leave Voluntarily
While Bri has been working hard aboard Mustique, her time on the superyacht has still been full of strife and struggle. She’s had a hard time understanding the hierarchy of the crew, especially because her personal issues with Ellie have made it difficult for her to take direction from the Second Stew. While Bri likely won’t be fired, she could be the first person aboard Mustique to voluntarily leave this season behind. With Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 just getting started, Bri’s departure could be the first shock of the season.
