Not to worry Love Island USA fans — those sexy singles still have a chance to spend a little quality time together in the Hideaway!
In season 6, the Islanders have dealt with their fair share of drama, tears and loved-up moments. But after more than three weeks of watching them all sleep in one giant bedroom, viewers have begun to wonder: What happened to the Hideaway?
Well, worry not! Simon Thomas, ITV Entertainment executive producer, tells PEOPLE that their favorite couples will be able to have their private rendezvous soon enough.
“We do indeed have a Hideaway in the main villa this season; there just hasn’t been the right opportunity to use it.” he explains. “We usually save the Hideaway for when couples are really clicking, but since it’s been such a rollercoaster for the Islanders so far, with a lot of couple-swapping and all the drama that comes with that, the timing has never felt right.”
“Rest assured, we’ll be sending some islanders there soon,” Thomas added. “We have a phenomenal production designer on the show, Richard Jensen, and he didn’t build it for nothing!”

The hideaway features a plush king-sized bed and tropical decorations throughout. Neon lights installed around the room provide a romantic glow for the lucky couples who get the opporunity to stay the night.
The hideaway also features an outdoor area where couples will be able to relax and form deeper connections in the private jacuzzi.
Season 6 of Love Island USA is set in Fiji and hosted by Vanderpump Rules star, Ariana Madix.
So far, only two couples — Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans and Serena Page and Kordell Beckham — have remained partnered up since the start of the season. Of course, now, the women and the men have been split while new singles join them for Casa Amor, and anything can happen.
In true Love Island fashion, viewers will be able to keep their favorite couples from going home “heartbroken and empty-handed” by voting via the Love Island USA app.
Love Island USA airs every night except Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
